Kyrgyzstan plans to build a charging equipment production plant
On August 1, 2025, a tripartite memorandum of understanding was signed in Bishkek between the National Center for Public-Private Partnerships of the State Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Chakan Hydropower Plant Open Joint Stock Company, and the South Korean company BLUE NETWORKS Co., Ltd.
CCS2 400KW DC charger station_1 The agreement aims to establish a partnership to implement an electric vehicle charging equipment production project in Kyrgyzstan and promote the development of related infrastructure. The parties agreed to jointly promote the project under a public-private partnership (PPP) model, including the design and possible construction of a factory and the deployment of a charging network in major cities and regions across the country.
The cooperation aims to introduce sustainable and environmentally friendly transport infrastructure, localize high-tech production, and create new jobs. The memorandum demonstrates Kyrgyzstan’s determination to modernize its energy and transport systems, as well as its willingness to expand international cooperation in the field of green technologies.
