As electric heavy-duty vehicles (HDVs) and high-performance passenger cars enter the market, the need for megawatt-level charging grows. Our 480kW system provides the necessary bridge to this future, delivering a constant, high-power output that can replenish a 600kWh truck battery in under 90 minutes. This station is the flagship of our 480kW Ultra-Fast DC Charging Station series, designed for intensive 24/7 operating cycles.
High-Performance Liquid-Cooled Thermal Management
The MIDA 480kW DC EV Charger Dual Gun | Liquid Cooled CCS2 Unit sets the standard for power density. Sustaining 480kW of DC power creates significant heat within the charging cables and power modules. MIDA’s advanced thermal management system utilizes a closed-loop liquid cooling circuit that maintains temperatures within precise operating windows. By cooling the CCS2 connector pins directly, we enable a continuous 500A current flow. This performance is a major step up from our 300kW CCS2 DC Fast Charger, ensuring higher station productivity for operators.
Superior Power Conversion Efficiency
Efficiency is paramount in the Smart 480kW DC Fast Charging Station | 1000V Liquid Cooled EVSE. It features high-frequency SiC (Silicon Carbide) power modules that achieve a peak efficiency of ≥ 96.5%. This technical excellence reduces heat generation and minimizes electricity wastage. The active power factor correction (APFC) ensures that the unit remains a grid-friendly asset with a power factor exceeding 0.98. For mid-range requirements, the 240kW DC EV Charging Station also offers exceptional power conversion performance.

Our intelligent power distribution software can allocate the full 480kW to a single vehicle requiring an ultra-fast boost or split the power dynamically between two vehicles. This makes the station ideal for sites that serve a mix of heavy-duty electric trucks and high-end passenger vehicles. This flexibility is a significant enhancement over the 180kW Commercial DC EV Charger, supporting much faster turnaround times.

The Ultra-Fast 480kW DC Charger | IP54 Liquid Cooled EV Infrastructure is built to last. The IP54-rated metal cabinet and IK10 impact resistance provide protection against the elements and vandalism. Connectivity via 4G, WiFi, and Ethernet, combined with OCPP 1.6J/2.0.1 support, allows for real-time monitoring and remote troubleshooting. The 15-inch touch screen provides a premium user interface.
