    600kW Electric bus Pantograph Up for EV Charger Station

    MIDA offers an ideal electric bus pantograph solution, featuring roof-mounted pantographs. This solution supports nighttime charging for large electric bus fleets, with single-vehicle charging power ranging from 50 to 150 kilowatts, while enabling rapid charging from 150 to 600 kilowatts during the day.

    Connecting electric buses to charging stations via a pantograph is simple and efficient. After the bus enters the station, the driver only needs to press a button to initiate the pantograph's extension process. The pantograph rises from the roof and connects with the contact cover installed at the station. Upon completion of charging or when the bus is ready to depart, the pantograph automatically disconnects and retracts. A brief passenger boarding and alighting time can add 10 kilometers to the bus's range.

    During the station stop, a typical 3 to 6 minutes of charging is sufficient to meet the normal operational needs for the entire day. The "overhead pantograph" charging solution integrates all necessary moving components for connections within the electric bus.

    The MIDA Panto-up bus charging station is also suitable for overnight vehicle parking and charging. A single charging unit can power up to three canopies, enabling three buses to charge simultaneously. The system sequentially charges each bus, helping reduce energy costs during peak hours, and employs intelligent power management to ensure all connected vehicles are fully charged before returning to service.
